THE
ESTABLISHMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF
THE MINING CHEMICAL INDUSTRY
The mining chemical
industry was established in December 20th 1965 under the decision of the Heavy
Ministry, responsible for receiving and maintaining Industrial Explosive
Material (IEM) from SNG, China and Eastern European countries, supplying to
economic industries.
Since 1995, the demand for IEM has been increasing, Aiming at
unifying management, safety producing, trading and better satisfying IEM
for economic industry. In March 29th 1995, the Government Department had the
Declaration No.44 allowing to establish the Mining Chemical Company (MICCO), and
based on that, in April 1st 1995, the Power Ministry (Now the Industry Ministry)
had the decision No.204 NL/TCCB-LD establishing the Mining chemical Company,
taking responsibility of chose process: from research, producing, co-processing
experiment maintaining, national storing IEM, exporting and importing
explosives, material chemicals for IEM production to after supplying services
such as: transportation, mining design, explosion and other duties beyond IEM.

Belong to company, there are 14 unit which are located in 3
main areas of our country, including remote areas with modern technique
including: 2838 MT of means of road and waterway transportation with over
90 bulk trucks, 4 sea-ships, 3 tow-ships, 2self-operated, 8 ferries, 31 special
bulk trucks for serving explosion producing control,... The IEM storing system
reaches the standard of TCVN 4586-1997 nationwide with capacity of over 6000 MT
of explosive: The port system of 3 port specialized in loading IEM. Especialy,
Company has inverted in 3 explosive producing line: ZECNO, Permitted explosive
used in mines having gas and coal dust; ANFO and Water-Resistant ANFO explosive
producing line with the total capacity of over 35,000MT per year. Among those,
ANFO and Water-Resistant ANFO explosive producing line has been inverted with
the Government Prime Minister's decision with the total value of 29,2 billions
VND (The whole unique equipment importer from the US including a Fixed ANFO
mixer and 2 special bulk-trucks which automatically in producing and
loading explosive at side). The company has good conditions: Research,
Experimenting, directly export and import, producing and supplying IEM,
satisfying demands for after-supplying services and other services of economic
industrial all over the country in terms of IEM.
